This rug mousepad is a reproduction of a splendid Qashqa'i shekarlu rug that lay beneath Sigmund Freud's (Austrian, 1856-1939) couch. The original was made by one of the nomadic tribes of the Qashqa'i confederacy in Persia in the nineteenth century.
