Robert Lee Morris's (American, b. Germany, 1947), first solo show was held in the early 1970's at Sculpture to Wear, a New York showcase for one-of-a-kind art jewellery. Since then, Morris's bold, clean, sculptural designs have garnered prestigious awards including the Coty Award (1981) and two Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards (1985, 1994). A collaborator with some of the world's leading couture designers, Morris was honored in 2007 with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award from The Council of Fashion Designers of America.
